2009.01.13 Rain, cancellation of China concert, and Asia concert is as scheduled.

Rain's China concert was canceled.

On the 13th, JTine entertainment, Rain's agency, expressed as, "Rain's concert which would be held in China on the 10th, was canceled. We had closed a concert contract with China's Shanghai More Culture Diffusion Incorporated Company by approximately 638,000,000won on account, but it was canceled due to breach of contract two days before the concert."

Rain also expressed that's very unfortunate, updating the contents which it had been canceled through his home page.Meanwhile, Rain plans to put his right hand to his Asia concert from March.

Rain met more than 6,000 Japanese fans at fan meeting in ZEPP Tokyo on the 12th.

The final word "nism" of Rainism carries a meaning derived from something.I made my album by myself from beginning to end including its composition and writing songs, and tried to do several genre, these include my stage costume or my performance. My former stage was more casual, while the present is more gentle. I'll show it through my fan meeting stage.

There are so many foods I like in Japan. I'm so busy that I have no leisure to travel in Japan, but I used to go to a hot spring. If I ever visit Japan again, I'd like to travel by motorcycle all over the nation.

I really like all of Japanese actors & actresses and movies. I saw many Japanese movies, and especially I was impressed by sensitive acting of the actresses.

記者会見でのRain(ピ)
1月12日午前、東京・ホテルオークラにて韓国歌手Rain(ピ)の来日記者会見が行われた。Rainは2年ぶりにアルバムを発表し、日本ファンとのファンミーティングのために来日。少々緊張した面持ちで会見に臨んだRainは5thアルバム『RAINISM』や今後の活動について語った。また、久々の来日ということもあり、多くの報道陣が会場に駆けつけた。

新年の初めに日本のファンにあいさつをしたかったというRain。会見で彼は「今回の『Rainism』は自分で手がけたもの。それだけに思い入れも深い」と初プロデュース作品をアピール。また、3～5月には日本でのコンサートも計画中であると発表した。さらに、『スピード・レーサー』や『ニンジャ・アサシン』でハリウッド映画に進出しているRainは、「日本映画もよく見る。好きな監督は北野武さんだ」と日本映画に対しても意欲的な回答を見せた。

会見後にZEPP TOKYOで開催されたファンミーティング＜Rain’s New Album ＆ Fan Meeting in Japan＞では、ヒット曲『I DO』や『It’s Raining』、『太陽を避ける方法』をはじめ、新曲の『Rainism』などをパワフルなダンスとともに熱唱した。また、ダンサーチームとのトークショーや私物のプレゼントコーナーなど約2時間にわたりファンとの時間を過ごした。

09.01.14 来日したRain(ピ) 北野武監督に「ラブコール」



歌手のRain(ピ)がアジア版アルバム『RAINISM』リリースに合わせ、12日に東京・お台場のZEPP東京で2回のファンミーティングを開いた。
　これに先立ち、午前11時から都内のホテルで開かれた記者会見でRainは、「北野武監督が好き。日本でもチャンスが与えられるのであれば、監督が演出するラブストーリに出演したい」と意欲を見せた。

　7日に発売され、オリコンのアルバムデイリーランキングで5位に入った『RAINISM』については、タイトル通りRainのカラーを出したアルバムになったと話した。すべてがRainから生じるとの意味を込め、収録曲の7割を自ら作詞・作曲し、ダンスやミュージックビデオの制作などでもすべて指揮を取ったという。一方で、日本で独自にアルバム発売・活動ができなかったことが残念だとし、次回はオリジナルアルバムをリリースし日本のテレビに出演したいと抱負を語った。また、3月か5月ごろにも日本でコンサートを開けるのでは、と付け加えた。

　ファン5000人が駆けつけたファンミーティングでは、Rainの芸能活動を盛り込んだ映像や新曲ミュージックビデオの上映、RainへのQ＆A、Rainと6人のバックダンサーによるトークショーなどが行われた。Rainはヒット曲『I　DO』、『Rainism』の日本語バージョンなど7曲を熱唱した。

The relationship between Rain and his dancers were really good.
There were 7 dancers, plus Rain, total 8 people had interview on the stage.
During an interview, Rain really had a good mood. Once he kept laughing then fell down from his chair finally.

The question section was so funny
Each person held one yellow finger stick. Everybody had to point out whom was the answer after MC asked the question.

Q1: Who is the slowest learner?
Everybody pointed to the new dancer (who sat next to MC)
The new dancer said he realized all others are great and experienced dancers after he joined the dancing team. For him, it was quite difficult to learn such skilled dance steps. Even though he was a little bit behind, he was useful.
According to Rain, this new dancer danced with him over 3 years, he joined his dancing team because of the Asia tour (Legend of Rainism).

Q2: Who is the wordiness?
Everybody pointed to SanTak (captain). He said he was the eldest. And he believed someone had to verbalize this and that in the team. Thus, he always shouted to remind all other members.

Q3: Who is the nice one?
Everybody pointed to NanYong.
NanYong explained that he used to over-react when he said hello to other people. Or, he was passion. Thus, people said he was nice. Actually, people misunderstood him.
Then, MC asked NanYong to show them how to say hello…
NanYong was so funny. He pulled up his hip all the way high when he was bowing to others. He even used both hands to touch others’ hands. Then he smiled…
Then fans screamed: Hello Nanyoung (in Korea) anneonghaseyo nanyong ssi
NanYong over-reacted and said hello back to fans
Rain said: He knew NanYong over 7 years, they were closed.

Q4: Who works really hard?
Everybody pointed to one dancer (I did not know his name, the middle one who wore grey hat). Rain told him to show some dance. Then music started, he danced so funny, like someone who did not know how to dance at all. Rain laughed loud till fell down on the floor. All people laughed badly too.
Then Rain said that guy has learned this dance almost 3 years.
MC asked Rain that dance worked so hard, in other words, did he a good dancer?
[Rain is so mean…just joking…haaa] Rain said that dancer just worked hard, that’s all.
Afterwards, Rain said “This dancer is a person who does not have much sense of belonging, like him. They have similar personality, thus they get along each other”


Q5: Who knows the most secret of Rain?
All dancers pointed to Song Gae Hong, the one who sat next to Rain. Song said “He always hang out with Rain in private life, compared with other dancers, he knows more secret about Rain”

Q6: Who is the most popular?
Everybody pointed to Rain, even Rain pointed to himself….[so cute]
Then, Rain asked who is the most popular besides of him. Some people pointed to SanTak (team captain), others pointed to Song Gae Hong.
Rain said “Song is the very popular in South Korea. But SanTak is famous in Japan”.

At last, Rain sang “Instead of say goodbye”. He laughed and screamed loud through the microphone “SanTak”. Also, he screamed as girl’s voice “SanTak, I love you”
It made SanTak so embarrassed…haaaa

The air of the hall did not circulate well, many fans felt uncomfortable. Rain was so nervous. He even passed his bottle of water to that fan. [Rain is so sweet]

About the Six to Five Fashion show & concert in December 2008, Rain realized that many Japanese fans could not enter the concert hall. He explained that fans had been cheated by bad agents. He warned fans be careful and should contact JTune if they had any questions in the ongoing events. Finally, Rain apologized to Japanese fans. He knew they went to Seoul because of him in last December. Therefore, he was planning to organize another Six to Five Fashion show & concert in Japan. 신인 댄서는 자신이 댄싱팀에 합류한 후, 모두가 너무 숙련된 댄서들이라는 걸

깨달았다고 했다..이 신인 때문에 그런 숙련된 댄스 스텝을 가르치는 것이 정말

어려웠다고..약간 뒤처지기는 했지만 잘 한다고 했다..

비에 따르면, 이 신인댄서는 3년 넘게 자신과 일했고, 아시아 투어(레전드 오브 레이니즘)

때문에 합류하게 된 거라고...


Q2: 누가 다변가인지?

-모두가 성탁씨를(팀장) 가리켰다..자신이 가장 나이가 많다고 했다..

그리곤 자신은 팀에서 이것저것 말로 표현해야만 한다고 생각한다고..

따라서 자신은 다른 멤버들을 환기시키기 위해 늘 소리친다고 했다..


Q3 : 누가 썩 괜찮은 사람인지?

-모두가 남용?(NanYoung)씨를 가리켰다..남용은 자신은 다른 사람들에게

인사할 때, 오버 액션을 하곤 한다고 말했다..또는 그는 정열적이다..

그래서 사람들이 그들 멋지다고 말하는데, 실은 사람들이 그를 오해한 거란다..

그 때, MC가 남용에게 인사하는 법을 보여달라고 했다..

남용은 너무 웃겼다.. 그는 고개 숙여 인사할 때, 엉덩이를 높이 치켜 들었다..

또한 다른 사람들의 손을 잡는데, 두 손을 사용하기도 하며 그 때 생긋 웃었다..

그 때, 음악이 시작되었고, 그는 마치도 춤 추는 법을 전혀 모르는 사람인 양,

너무 우스꽝스럽게 춤을 췄다..비는 바닥에 떨어질 때까지 크게 웃었다..

모든 사람 역시 심하게 웃어 댔다..

그 때, 비는 이 댄서가 이 춤을 거의 3년 간 배웠다고 했다..

사회자가 비에게 이 댄서가 그렇게 열심히 하는 지, 즉, 잘 하는 댄서인 지를

물었다..( 비는 짓궂었고 농담을 했다..하하하)

2008년 12월의 Six to Five의 쇼.콘서트를 할 무렵, 비는 많은 일본팬분들이
콘서트 장에 입장할 수 없었다는 걸 알았다..
수준미달의 에이전트에 속은 것이라고 팬들에게 설명했다..


비는 팬들을 조심시켰고, 진행 중인 이벤트에 의문점이 있으면
JTune과 연락해야 한다고 하며, 마지막에 가서 일본팬들에게 사과했다..

지난 12월 자신 때문에 서울에 일본팬들이 왔다는 걸 알았고,
그래서 일본에서 또 한 번의 Six to Five의 쇼.콘서트를 기획할 예정이라고 한다..

1,000 Japanese Fans Flock to Airport to See Rain

Singer Rain (Jeong Ji-hun, 27) flew to Japan Sunday for his first official schedule of the year. He was welcomed by 1,000 Japanese fans at the airport.
He released the Asia edition of his 5th regular album “Rainism” (released in Korea in Oct.) in Japan last Wednesday. He will hold a concert/fan meeting four times during his stay, twice Monday in Tokyo and twice Wednesday in Osaka.
He arrived late Sunday night at Narita International Airport to be greeted by 1,200 fans.
He will hold a press conference Monday morning at Hotel Okura Tokyo before the local media. His management agency J.Tune Entertainment says 200 Japanese reporters will attend the conference.
Upon its release last Wednesday, Rainism placed fifth on the Oricon charts. He will debut his new songs in the Japanese version during his 90 minute long concerts.

01.14.09 Rain is not just King of Asia, he is also King of Paralysis?!Rain has a very busy schedule in Japan, and wherever he goes, he “paralyses” everything!

When Rain arrived at Tokyo Narita airport at about 9 pm, there were more than 1200 fans waiting for him, paralysing the waiting hall. Normal operation was interrupted due to this!

On the morning of the press conference, despite it being a national holiday and an early conference time, there were over 70 media companies, 100 Japanese and Korean journalists. People and equipment were croweded together because of the space constraint. Some media peole even took off their shoes and stood directly onto the stage. The interesting thing is, unlike the usual “quiet” Japanese press conference, 80% of the journalists there were female! During the photo shooting session,
sweet Korean and Japanese voices could be heard all around. Rain is truly a female killer!
