The daughter of my mother's friend was 6 years old at that time and was Rain fan.

가수 비(Rainㆍ본명 정지훈)가 세계적 액션스타 성룡과의 약속을 지키기 위해 30일 중국행 비행기에 몸을 싣는다.

비는 내달 1일 중국 베이징 올림픽 주경기장에서 열리는 '2009 굿 프렌드 콘서트(Good Friend Concert)'에 참석차, 30일 중국을 찾는다.

자선 행사 형식으로 열리는 이번 공연은 '세계적인 선행천사'로 알려진 성룡이 주축이 돼 마련된 공연으로, 수익금 전액을 자선기금으로 사용할 예정이다. 특히 성룡이 비를 공식 초청해 화제를 모았다.

이날 머니투데이 스타뉴스와 전화통화를 가진 비 측 관계자는 "오늘 비가 성룡과의 약속을 지키기 위해 중국을 찾는다"고 밝혔다.

특히 비는 최근 미국, 한국 등에서 월드투어와 관련해 제기된 연이은 소송으로 마음고생이 심한 터라 이번 중국행은 남다른 의미를 갖는다. 성룡과의 약속을 지키고 선행에도 참여한다는 좋은 뜻에서 강행하게 됐다.

한편 이번 행사에 비 뿐 아니라 중국 내 인기가 높은 슈퍼주니어와 장리인도 참석한다.

2009.04.30 예능, 노래, 연기 트리플 스타에 도전하는 연예인들.
가수가 연기를 하거나, 예능 프로그램에 출연하는 건 새로운 일이 아니다. 그래서 가수 연기 겸업 스타와 가수 예능 겸업 스타는 흔해졌다. 하지만 음악, 연기, 예능 세 분야에서 모두 성공을 거둔 스타는 거의 없다.
타고난 섹시스타 이효리도 연기에서는 성적표가 초라하다. 비와 이승기, 임창정 정도가 이 세 분야에 도전해 어느 정도의 결실을 거두고 있다.

이들 가운데 가장 가시적인 성과를 거두고 있는 연예인은 월드스타인 비다. 비는 댄스가수로서도 실력을 인정받았지만 일찌감치 연기자로 나서 인기를 얻었다. ‘상두야 학교가자’ ‘풀하우스’ ‘이 죽일 놈의 사랑’ ‘사이보그지만 괜찮아’ 등 국내 드라마와 영화를 섭렵한 후 ‘스피드 레이서’와 ‘닌자 어새신’ 등 헐리웃 영화에도 진출했다.

연기도 ‘소문난 칠공주’에 이어 ‘찬란한 유산’에서도 반응이 좋은 편이다. 식품회사 사장의 손자로 버릇 없는 ‘까칠남’을 연기하는 이승기는 대사도 별로 없는 첫주부터 ‘성공’으로 예단하는 보도가 나왔지만 조금 더 지켜봐야 할 듯하다.

본업인 가수로서는 3장의 정규앨범과 2장의 리메이크 앨범을 발표한 이승기는 고운 목소리를 지니고 있음은 사실이지만 히트곡이 데뷔곡인 ‘여자라니까’외에 딱히 떠오르는 게 없다는 점은 아쉬움으로 남는다. 예능의 감이 좋은 이승기가 음악과 연기 분야에서 좀 더 집중력을 발휘한다면 ‘트리플 스타’가 가능하리라는 전망이다.

임창정은 드물게도 가수와 연기자로 정점을 찍은 만능엔터테이너다. KBS 가요대상에서 대상을 수상하고, 백상예술대상 남우주연상도 받았다. 가수로 은퇴하기 전에는 예능에서도 이미 성공했으니 최초의 ‘트리플 스타’인 셈이다.
하지만 6년만에 복귀하며 발표한 ‘오랜만이야’는 좋은 반응을 얻고 있음에도 과거 임창정의 발라드 스타일을 답습하는 듯하다.

임창정은 ‘천하무적 토요일’의 고정MC를 맡았고 많은 예능물에 게스트로 나섰지만 출연 빈도에 비해 수확률은 그리 높지 않은 편이다.
한 예능PD는 “예능과 노래, 연기 세 가지를 제패하면 진정한 만능엔터테이너이며 제패를 못한 채 이것 저것 손대면 종합연예인(?)”이라는 우스갯소리를 내놓기도 했다.

가수 비가 세계적인 배우 청룽과의 의리를 지킨다.

비의 한 측근은 "청룽과의 개인적인 친분을 넘어 아시아를 대표하는 스타들이 뭉치는 자리인 데다 자선 기금 마련을 위한 행사여서 참석을 마음먹었다. 중국어권 여론이 좋지 않다는 것을 알고 있지만 행사 취지가 좋아서 예정대로 참석하기로 했다"고 말했다.

비와 청룽은 지난해 베이징 올림픽 폐막식 공연에서 만나 우정을 나눴다. 이후에도 지속적으로 안부를 전하며 친분을 유지했던 것으로 알려졌다. 비는 30일부터 2박3일 일정으로 이번 공연 일정을 갖는다. 비 외에도 슈퍼주니어와 장리인도 함께 자선콘서트에 출연한다.
