'비'가 온다 … 팝 페스티벌 스타트
【여수=뉴시스】김석훈 기자 = 가수 비가 입대 10개월 만에 초대형 콘서트 무대에 선다.
11일 여수세계박람회조직위에 따르면 16일 여수엑스포장에서 개막하는 '엑스포 팝 페스티벌' 개막공연에 '비'가 출연한다.
'엑스포 팝 페스티벌'은 여수엑스포 조직위원회가 주관하는 초대형 가요 릴레이 콘서트로 남은 엑스포 기간 동안 화려한 무대를 선사할 예정이다.
특히 엑스포를 찾는 관람객들을 위해 2만명을 동시에 수용할 수 있는 엑스포 특설무대에서 국내 최고 빅스타들의 콘서트를 매일 밤 릴레이 형식으로 진행한다.
지난해 10월 팬들의 사랑을 뒤로 하고 22개월간의 군 목무를 시작한 '비'는 군인으로서 다양한 홍보공연 활동을 펼쳐왔으나 월드스타 비를 기다리는 팬들에겐 규모나 내용에서 턱없이 아쉬운 공연들이었다.
이에 따라 '엑스포 팝 페스티벌'은 군복을 벗고 파워풀한 월드스타의 면모를 과시할 초대형 무대가 될 전망이다.
비는 공연준비를 위해 조명·음향·퍼포먼스까지 직접 점검할 정도로 준비에 신경을 쓰고 있으며, 명품 발라드 가수 박효신과의 듀엣곡도 준비하고 있어 그동안 보지 못한 다채로운 공연이 펼쳐질 것으로 기대 된다.
조직위관계자는 "대형크루즈의 낭만적인 불빛과 엑스포장의 화려한 야경을 배경으로 펼쳐질 폭발적인 월드스타의 날갯짓, 비의 화려한 무대를 만끽하며 여수 바다의 정취에 푹 빠지는 행복한 시간이 될 것"이라고 말했다.
한편 개막공연은 16일 오후 8시30분 박람회장내 엑스포 특설무대에서 펼쳐지며, 엑스포장을 찾은 관람객에게 무료로 개방된다. 17일에는 김장훈, 18일에는 YB밴드의 화려한 무대가 기다리고 있다.
