Y-Star released the ranking of Korea's 50 Most Handsome Men of 2011 recently. Most of the participants of this voting chose actors to be the most handsome but also idol stars like 2PM's Nichkhun or SHINee's Minho made it into Korea's 50 Most Handsome Men of 2011.

Entertainer Rain will hold a concert in Dresden, Germany this may with the German cellist Jan Vogler.

Earlier we reported that Rain will be holding a concert in Germany. On April 8th it was officially confirmed that the Korean entertainer and German cellist Jan Vogler will be holding a collaborative concert entitle "Dresden Music Festival Concert: Rain & Vogler" at Semperoper opera house in Dresden, Germany through the venue's website.

The concert will revolve around the theme "Asian pop meets European classic", and will be held on May 19th at 9PM. Unfortunately, the event is completely sold out, but promises to be a fantastic night for those who were able to nab seats.

Semperoper homepage, through which the event was also announced, introduces Rain to a world as "Asia's Michael Jackson", and "an actor and singer whose music covers a wide range of genres from Pop and R&B to Hip Hop."

Rain has been nominated for six consecutive years.

Actor and singer Rain (real name Jeong Ji Hoon, 29) has been nominated for Time magazine’s online poll that selects the “world's most influential 100 people (hereafter referred to as the Time 100),” and he is ranking atop the poll as of April 6.

The online poll has been conducted from April 4, and Rain has earned 47,600 votes by beating out actor Chris Colfer, who is the current runner-up, with as many as 20,000 difference of votes. Rain has been nominated for “TIME 100” for six consecutive years. In 2006, he was selected as the top vote-getter in the “TIME 100” and walked the red carpet. He also ranked atop the online poll in 2007 and ranked in second place in 2008. For this year’s “TIME 100,” a total of 203 influential people from various fields from all around the world have been nominated as online poll nominees; star entertainers such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Susan Boyle, people from politics and economics such as US president Barack Obama, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, world-renowned investor Warren Buffett, and CEO of Apple Steve Jobs, and laborers at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan. Time will conduct the online poll until April 14 among tje preliminary 203 nominees and go through an internal evaluation before they will announce the final “TIME 100” list in or around May.

Singer and actor Rain is currently in the lead for "Time" magazine's poll for the most influential person of 2011 for a second time since his win back in 2008.

International entertainer Rain is currently in the lead as Time's most influential individual of 2011. Almost doubling the amount of votes as his closest rival thus far, Taiwanese singer and songwriter Jay Chou, it seems that Rain has swept the charts.

While Time states that Rain conquered the overseas market with his "catchy beats and hot dance moves", in reality, American fans may be most familiar with the entertainer for his appearance on the "Colbert Report", when he successfully claimed the #1 position for Time's most influential individual of 2008 over Stephen Colbert, or for his movie "Ninja Assassin".
