제6회 철원 화강 다슬기 축제가 내달 2일부터 5일까지 철원군 김화읍 화강 쉬리공원 및 김화생활체육공원 일원에서 개최된다.
6회째를 맞는 철원 화강 다슬기축제는 올해부터 주둔하는 백골부대(육군 3사단)와 함께 공동으로 주관하면서 많은 체험프로그램과 행사가 더해졌다.
이미 수도권 시민들에게 잘 알려지면서 대한민국 여름 대표가족축제로 거듭난 이번 철원 화강 다슬기축제는 공연 컨텐츠가 보강된 맞춤형 가족 프로그램 위주로 아동교육 및 체험·전시, 국군방송 위문열차 공개녹화, 호국 및 안보의식 함양 프로그램, 가족물놀이장 등이 더해져 즐거움과 유익함, 시원함이 더욱 살아있는 가족공감여행으로 다채롭게 진행될 예정이다.
특히 국군방송 위문열차 공개녹화에는 군복무 중인 월드스타 ‘비’와 청·장년에게 큰 인기세례를 받고 있는 인기 락그룹 ‘부활’의 공연이 예정돼 있어 다슬기 축제장을 젊음의 열정으로 가득 메울 것으로 보인다.
이밖에도 인기가수 주현미, 케이윌, 강창모, 럼블퓌쉬, DJ덕, 언터쳐블, 걸그룹 등 국내최정상급의 연예인 공연이 이어지면서 수도권 시민들의 발길이 대거 몰릴 것으로 기대된다.
다슬기축제 행사를 담당하는 최석열 철원군정책과장은 “철원 화강 다슬기축제는 2007년에 시작된 신생축제라는 한계에도 불구하고 철원 주민들의 적극적인 참여와 청정한 수변환경, 수도권에서의 우수한 접근성을 바탕으로 10여만명이 찾는 대한민국 대표가족축제로 거듭나고 있어 이번 축제에도 많은 사람이 찾을 것으로 기대된다”고 밝혔다.
한편 철원 화강 다슬기 축제에서 진행되는 다슬기 및 송어잡기 체험 및 호국안보 프로그램의 참여는 당일 현장에서 접수가 가능하며 자세한 사항은 다슬기축제 홈페이지 www.daslgi.kr와 전화 033-450-5633로 문의하면 된다.
