Tudtam, hogy ránézésre nem tűnök valami nagy számnak, a megjelenésem sem túl vonzó, de a bensőm elég rendkívüli. Minden színpadra lépés előtt azt mondom magamnak, hogy én vagyok a legjobb, és minden előadás után ugyanúgy azt, hogy nem én vagyok. Ezért minden fellépés előtt 120 százalékosan kell felkészülnöm, hogy az előadáson 100 százalékos teljesítményt tudjak nyújtani. Ennek érdekében minden álló nap folyamatosan képzem magam. Már nagyon hosszú ideje alváshiányban szenvedek, mert ha éppen nem dolgozom, akkor vagy edzek, vagy a koreográfiákat és a dalokat próbálom. Éppen úgy, mint a filmfelvételek idején, ha valamit nem csináltam jól, képtelen vagyok aludni. Akár színészként, akár énekesként, a legjobbat kell tudnom kihozni magamból. De nem kell aggódni, hogy most nincs elegendő időm az alvásra, jut arra majd bőven a halálom után. (Rain)

Ami igazán meglepő Ji-hoonban, az az, hogy egyfajta düh, bosszúvágy és szomorúság, az összes efféle sötét, komor negatív motiváció az ő esetében rendkívül optimista és derűs módon ölt testet.

Korean company Seong Joo's luxury brand MCM has come to America's best department store 'Saks Fifth Avenue' which is only for luxury goods,, and MCM has simultaneously come to 15 department stores all over the country including the head office in Manhattan.

At an event in celebration of their launching held in the event hall on the 5th floor of the head office on the 15th, a lot of celebrities such as Jay-Z, Julie Henderson, and so on, including pop star Beyonce were present in a mass, particularly singer Rain and wordwide model CoCo Rocha took part in the event as hosts, which attracted attention.

I arrived at New York JFK Airport yesterday in order to do my business, 
and I saw world star Rain close to. (maybe, Sunday by American time)

Rain seemed to take Korean Air flight, and put on such a thing as a stocking 
over his blue jean, having a beret pulled on sidewise above his face.

Some men and women who might be Chinese began to call Rain, "Rain! Rain!" 
as soon as they found him, and one of them continued to take pictures of him, 
following after him.

I was just looking vacantly at the sight, but now I come to think of it, 
I'm overcome with regret.

This is an non fan account

I saw Rain and JYP (Park Jin-Yeong), Rain's former chief, having some bread at 'New York
Bakery' located in Koreatown on 32nd street in Manhattan, New York, today (by local time).


JYP excessively made as if he wanted to catch the eye, but people around those two had eyes only for Rain, aparting from JYP. Rain was soon besieged by autography hunters including the custome rs and employees at the bakery.

Rain dyed his hair and looked underweight slightly.

When the people greeted Rain, he bowed politely with a shy smile, getting out of his chair lightly.


Also, it is said somebody else saw those two walking along the street, only Rain was so obviously cool like a real artiste worthy of the name and was far taller than JYP.

휴먼다큐 '엄마의 약속', 뮤지컬로 제작

 



[이데일리 SPN 김은구기자] MBC 휴먼다큐 ‘사랑’을 통해 소개됐으며 월드스타 비(정지훈)가 병문안을 해 눈길을 끌기도 했던 고(故) 안소봉씨의 가족 이야기가 뮤지컬로 제작된다.

공연 제작사 하늘연어는 안씨의 투병기를 다룬 뮤지컬 ‘엄마의 약속’을 오는 10월1일부터대학로 스타시티 2관에서 무대에 올린다고 16일 밝혔다.

안씨는 딸 소윤이를 낳자마자 위암 말기로 3개월 시한부 선고를 받았지만 소윤이의돌잔치는 꼭 차려주고 세상을 떠나겠다는 약속을 지켰다. 그 과정은 지난 2007년 ‘사랑’의 ‘엄마의 약속’ 편을 통해 소개돼 많은 시청자들을 눈물짓게 했다.

하지만 안씨는 2007년 10월, 1년 10일간의 투병 끝에 유명을 달리했다.

하늘연어 측은 뮤지컬 ‘엄마의 약속’이 현재 경상남도 마산에 거주하고 있는 안씨의 가족과 인터뷰를 통해 제작됐다며 “‘엄마의 약속’을 통해 우리 사회가 가족애 회복의 중요성을 공유하고 가까이 있기 때문에 잃어버리기 쉬운 일상의 소중함을 생각할 수 있는 계기가 마련됐으면 한다”고 설명했다.

공연은 12월31일까지 진행되며 공연기간 순수익의 10%는 매달 사회복지공동모금회에기부돼 소외계층을 위해 사용될 예정이다

본 이벤트에는 뉴욕의 유수 비즈니스 리더들과 비욘세, 제이지, 쥴리 헨더슨 등 유명 셀러브리티들이 대거 참석해 MCM 브랜드 파워를 과시하는 기회가 됐다.

16.9.09 Korean Star Rain Goes On ‘Torturous’ Diet For New Film

SEOUL : South Korean superstar Rain had to put himself on a strict diet for his latest role in action flick “Ninja Assassin” in which he plays an orphan who becomes a ninja warrior.
The new, Joel Silver-produced movie, promises plenty of stunts, sword fights and of course, the leading man himself, Rain.

Describing the food he took as “terrible”, and just thinking about it makes him shudder. Now that he no longer has to subject himself to a strict regimen, he is glad that he is able to resume a normal diet, reported Korean media.

For the sake of the movie’s role which required him to be in perfect and lean condition, the singer-actor said that he underwent intensive training two months before filming commenced.

Admitting his preference for junk food, French fries and hamburgers, his diet during the eight months of filming and training was replaced by mainly steamed fish and chicken breast with vegetables. During the process, the 27-year-old managed to lose 22 pounds (10 kilograms).

When asked if he would undergo another round of intense dieting for another role in a movie, Rain, whose name is Jung Ji Hoon, shook his head in disapproval.

“It feels scary just thinking about that period. I don’t think it’s possible for me to go through the process again. It was painful especially for someone like me who worships food.”

Rain made his American movie debut with last year’s “Speed Racer” and “Ninja Assassin” marks his first Hollywood leading role. The movie is scheduled to open in theatres later this year.
