[Sept-14-2009] Rain's fan clubs donated money to The National Starvation Management Agency.
It has been spotlighted that Benamoo, one of Rain's fan clubs in Korea, donated1,800,000 won (about $1,472) to The National Starvation Management Agency lately.
They took part in the movement to send mosquito nets African children who are being troubled with malaria by following the example of Rain who has been good behaviors with the agency, and are inheriting their star's disposition.

비(정지훈)의 팬들이 아프리카 어린이 돕기에 나섰다.
비의 팬클럽 비나무는 최근 한국국제기아대책본부에 십시일반으로 모은 180만원의 성금을 전달했다. 말라리아 모기로 고통받는 어린이를 위해 아프리카에모기장을 보내는 운동에 참여한 것이다.
비는 이미 올해 기아대책과 함께 어린이와피자 만들기, 바자회 등에 참여한 바 있다. 비나무는 비의 뜻을 이어 자발적으로 기부에 나섰다.
비는 현재 아시아 투어 중이며 11월25일 할리우드 주연작 <닌자 어새신>을 미국과 한국에서 개봉한다.

날개 단 ‘비’와 사진 찍으세요
세계적인 슈퍼스타를 만나보자.” TV나 인터넷을 통해서만 보던 슈퍼스타들이 미술관으로 들어왔다. 수목과 동물을 함께 만나는 ‘베어트리파크’(연기군 전동면)에서 18일부터 11월 1일까지 ‘미술과 놀이전-슈퍼스타 인 베어트리파크’란 제목으로 개최된다.
이번 전시는 ‘현대미술은 난해하다’는 편견을 깨고 ‘놀이’라는 대중적인 언어로서 관람객과의 거리감을 좁히는 계기가 될 전망이다. 작품 재료가 전선·키보드·지우개 가루 등으로 독특하고 친근하다. 작품 소재로는 마릴린 먼로나 케네디와 같은 역사적 인물뿐만 아니라 가수·학자·성인(聖人)들에 이르기까지 대중들의 아이콘인 슈퍼스타들을 작가만의 의도와 발언을 담아 전시물로 완성했다. 가수 ‘비’에 날개를 달아 실물 크기(185cm)로 제작한 작품도 있다(사진).
인물만이 아니라 거장들의 명화도 패러디의 대상이 된다. 고흐의 초상화나 다빈치의 모나리자, 신윤복의 미인도 등이 대표적인 사례로 단순한 모방이 아니라 전혀 새로운 감각으로 재해석했다.
이색 포토존이 있다. 레드 카페트가 깔린 곳에서 검은 선글라스 보디가드(조형물) 호위 속에 사진을 찍을 수 있다.
베어트리파크에선 전시회에 맞춰 가을 정취가 물씬 풍기는 클래식 공연(충남교양악단 현악4중주)이 오픈 무대에서 해설과 함께 공연될 예정이다. 베어트리파크는 40여 년에 걸쳐 조성된 수목원으로 5월 문을 열고 일반에 공개됐다. 이곳에선 온갖 나무·식물과 함께 반달곰 100여 마리 등 동물도 관람할 수 있다. 문의 베어트리파크(www.beartreepark.com), (041)866-7766.

Super stars shown only through internet, have entranced into an art gallery.
In 'Bear Tree Park' (located in Jeondong township of Yeonki district) where you can see trees and animals, the work of art entitled 'Art and Amusement Show - Super Star in Bear Tree' is to be exhibited from September 18th to November 1st.
The artists worked in a variety of materials which use the images of the super stars idolized by the public, from historical characters such as Marilyn Monroe or Kennedy down to singers, scholars, and saints.
When you get there, a full-scale statue of winged Rain can be seen.(about 6.07 feet long)
