가수 비(본명 정지훈)가 일본 공연을 통해 아시아 투어의 첫 신호탄을 쏘아올렸다.

대형 공연장의 객석 구석구석이 빈 자리 없이 꽉 채워졌고 연령대가 기존의 한류팬인 40,50대부터 10대에 이르기까지 층이 폭 넓어진 관객들은 뜨겁게 환호했다. 관객들의 반응을 열성적으로 만든 비의 공연 컨셉트 변화도 눈 여겨 볼만 했다.

#2 '월드스타' 몸풀다
무대에 나선 비의 이마에 땀이 송글송글 맺혔다. 좌우를 짧게 올려 친 그의 새로운 헤어스타일 덕분에 땀에 젖은 모습은 더욱 도드라져 보인다. 그가 숱한 땀방울을 흘릴 것을 알기라도 했다는 듯그의 목에 귀엽게 걸쳐진 수건이 인상적이다.
#3 로맨틱 가이 비

뚜레쥬르 광고 속에서 비와 구혜선은 손바닥만한 크기의 미니 파티쉐 요정으로 변신해 아기자기하고 사랑스런 모습을 보여준다.
이번 광고는 비와 구혜선이 귀여운 미니 파티쉐 요정으로 변신한 내용이었기 때문에 빵 반죽을 비롯해 주변 소품을 대형화해야 했다. 촬영을 위해 거대한 모형의 스푼과 포크, 채. 빵 반죽, 그리고 아몬드 조작이 특수 제작되었고, 비는 엄청난 무게의 대형 스푼을 들고 시럽을 뿌리고 구혜선은 나무로 만든 대형 아몬드 조작 모형을 빵 위에 던지는 연기를 하는 등 재미있는 에피소드가 많았다. 특히 거의 모든 장면이 합성으로 이뤄지는 촬영이라 비와 구혜선은 텅 빈 파란 크로마키 공간에서 마치 실제 거대한 빵을 굽고 있는 듯이 연기를 해야 했다. 촬영 난이도가 높다보니 시간이 다른 때보다 더 걸린 것은 당연한 일.

Coming downstairs during my performance, I seemed to put stress on the
knee in an instant. A muscle spasm might happen. But I guess I have no
difficulty in holding tomorrow's concert.
Q : It was some concert.. How do you feel about it?
Rain :
I've hold my concert for the first time in 3 years, and I'm filled with
emotion. I especially cared about the direction part, having prepared
for my concert for a long time. I think I can give 9points out of 10 to
this concert.
Q : What stage did you like best?
Rain : The beginning and end of the concert were under control smoothly.
Once
the concert comes in, what firecrackers shaped like Niagara Falls and
smoke simultaneously appear on the stage has to be well timed, luckily
it went well in ways that I absolutely love.
Above all things, I'm very pleased that I had a good time with my fans just as I dance with them in the club.
Q : You showed a club-style stage in the way that you promised last time.

: That's right. I used to show my stage to the audience one-sidedly in
the past, but the best thing about holding this concert is that I had a

dance performances in every stage. This concert was pretty hard, but

appearance. There's very little I mention to the audience during the
concert. Such tedious mentions can bore them at any moment. I tried to

Rain Kicks Off Asia Tour in Japan

Rain's pan-Pacific tour, "Legend of Rainism" has begun, and forget storms, this hot-blooded star is steaming! The titled "Korean Justin Timberlake" kicked off the first leg of his tour Saturday night in Japan at the Saitama Super Arena. He's been concentrating on working out and rehearsing for the past half year in preparation for this vigorous tour, and it sounds like the work paid off!
After opening with "My Way" and "Touch Ya", Rain performed a vigorous set of hits for a total of twenty-five numbers, including eight songs from his fifth album as well as hits like "It's Raining", "Running Away from the Sun", "I Do", "Love Story" for a two-and-a-half hour concert. The singer even paid a tribute to the late King of Pop (whom Rain has pinned as the inspiration that got him into dancing) by performing "Billie Jean", complete with Michael Jackson's signature fedora and trademark dance moves.
Rain had five or six sets of outfits throughout the night, including the obligatory T-shirt that he eventually tore off while drowning himself in the rain. Phew, Rain's been in the industry as a singer for seven years now, but it never gets old!
J. Tune Ent promised a new, distinctive performance to show how Rain has matured as an artist, and it seems like they weren't kidding - Rain took a step from the previous concerts, opting for a live band instead of using recorded tunes as well as performing romantic ballads like "My Girl" and "The Thing About Love" instead of sticking to pop songs. Even his stage was different - instead of using a symmetrical setup like most concerts, the stage had an asymmetrical design to give Rain's performance a bit of edge. The star also tried to speak in Japanese and Engrish English to better connect with his audience.
J. Tune Ent has confirmed concerts in Seoul at the Olympic Stadium on October 9 & 10 and Hong Kong on Dec 12 & 13; further dates and venues for various countries will be announced on the tour website once the promotion dates for "Ninja Assassin" (to be released on Nov 25) is set. Yesterday, Tous Les Jours (뚜레쥬르) announced that the two stars of Korea's most popular dramas (Full House, Boys over Flowers, respectively) would be teaming up as models for a new CF and promised to show a cute charm from the duo. Q :You lamely walked a little after your first concert in Japan. Are you OK now?
Rain : Coming downstairs during my performance, I seemed to put stress on the knee in an instant. A muscle spasm might happen. But I guess I have no difficulty in holding tomorrow's concert.
Q : It was some concert.. How do you feel about it?
Rain : I've hold my concert for the first time in 3 years, and I'm filled with emotion. I especially cared about the direction part, having prepared for my concert for a long time. I think I can give 9points out of 10 to this concert.
Q : What stage did you like best?
Rain : The beginning and end of the concert were under control smoothly.
Once the concert comes in, what firecrackers shaped like Niagara Falls and smoke simultaneously appear on the stage has to be well timed, luckily it went well in ways that I absolutely love.

Rain stood on the left side of the high stage when the lights dimmed, with his arms stretched out. He wore a silvery jacket with black patterns, black vest and trousers. It’s so funny that as soon as we saw him, every one of us in the arena automatically abandoned our seats and stood up and cheered. (In fact, we all remained standing throughout the show.) He did not move, we cheered again, louder and louder each time. At last the King of the Stage seemed satisfied with our screams, and he started the show with “My Way”.
As early as the second song “Touch Ya”, Rain was already leading us into party mood. He said: “Now shake your body, shake your body”, and the floor shook as we all shook.
Then he went up to the high stage again. My heart missed a beat when I saw him jump down from great height in preparation to sing “It’s Raining”. “11 Days” and “I Like You Again” gave the Broadway Musical feel – Rain looked exceedingly handsome in the royal blue jacket and mustard coloured trousers with another gentleman bowler hat. The chair dance, the props all added to the party atmosphere.
Rain was in his white Rainism outfit when he performed the last 3 songs – “Love Story” followed by “Rainism” (the red magic stick appeared again) and his last song “Friends”. I feel that Rain was particularly emotional in the second night when he sang his last song – or may be it was just me.
Rain was clearly in good moods in both nights for the encore songs. In the first night when he sang “Fresh Woman”, he performed the longest, fastest “hip hip” dance. Imagine a belly dance woman shaking her belly really fast, and Rain is doing the same with his hip! He even got down the stage and took a red wig from the audience and wore it. Rain asked us to jump, to dance, to scream and the whole concert hall went wild. In the second night all of us had an even longer encore dance, because Rain was cheering for all his dancers to perform a solo piece, chanting all the time “go go XXX”. The only unfortunate incident was that Rain hurt his knees, and we could see that he was in pain only at the end of the first concert and at the end of the second concert – he just would not let the pain affect his performance.
