[Fan Acct] 'U Made It' ~ words to Rain from USA Cloud
Finally, Rainism Las Vegas concert was great success!
Actually, Rain's USA Cloud has prepared a little gift to Rain for Las Vegas concert. About 3 weeks ago, we comprised with an idea making a sign "U Made It" at Rain-USA fan website. We would like to show it to Rain when he sang "Friends"...I'm your friend forever don't forget...Fans would stand up and show him the sign. Each sign was unique because it was handmade by each fan. We used simple material and design but filled with our love. We would like to show our support and agreed with Rain that he really made his dream comes true.
On the concert day, I sat on the 2nd row and Rain stood in front of when he sang "Friends". When I put up the sign 'U Made It', Rain gave me a signal - he waved to me. Then, he headed up and looked at the other signs. Compared with Hong Kong concert, we didn't have big quantities of signs. But, it did shown our support with our limited power. Yes, Rain got it!
For me, I will interpret 'U Made It' as Rain made his American dream comes true, Rain made his leading role in Hollywood movie, and he came back the USA stage after 3 years. Yeah! he made it....
In the near future, Rain will work on his next Hollywood project soon.
I hope Rain will make a progress and show his talents in various ways.

China ain’t happy with Rain, the Shandong PR ambassador
Quite a bit of China is being involved with the k-pop business nowadays, don't you guys think?
Chinese medias have been on fire for the last few days, reporting that Korea's own superstar, Rain, has been chosen to be the PR ambassador of Shandong. Shandong is a coastal province of eastern People's Republic of China, known for its enrichment in honorable history as the hometown of Confucius. However, instead of rejoicing over the fact that the world's hottie is now in charge of advertising their very own city, the Chinese netizens have been uproar by expressing their furious opinions.
"Why do we have to let a Korean man be in charge of spreading the words of Shandong, a province where Confucius lived as his home?"
"I am a fan of Rain myself, but I do not want him to be the PR ambassador of Shandong."
"We have a handful amount of Chinese celebrities who are from Shandong, so why can't we use them instead of a foreigner?"
Due to this hot controversy, Rain is currently being silent towards this issue.
Although the reason for such a dispute is quite understandable from certain aspects, I believe having a star who is well-known. throughout U.S. and Asia, promoting such honored city will end up being highly effective. Rain's promotion will most definitely capture the attentions of people not only in China, but the whole world as well. But of course, there's always a limit of how one can represent a foreign nation.

'월드스타' 비, '산동성 홍보대사?' 中 네티즌 뿔났다!

'월드스타' 비가 중국 산동성의 홍보대사로 선정된 것에 대해 중국 네티즌의 반대여론이 뜨겁다.
중국의 언론들은 지난 24일 비(정지훈)가 공자의 고향이자 중국의 유구한 역사와 문화가 살아 숨 쉬는 산동성의 홍보대사가 됐다고 보도했다.
보도에 따르면 아시아권 뿐 아니라 할리우드에서도 유명세를 타고 있는 비의 건강한 이미지를 긍정적으로 평가해 홍보대사로 선정했다고 전했다.
비는 "산동성측의 제안을 흔쾌히 수락했다"며 "산동성이 아시아의 대표적인 여행지로 뻗어나가길 기대해본다"고 소감을 전하기도 했다.
이에 수 많은 중국 네티즌은 “다른 곳도 아닌 공자의 고향 산동성 홍보대사를 왜 한국인에게 맡겨야 하느냐”, “비의 팬이긴 하지만 비가 산동성 홍보대사를 맡는 것은 원치 않는다”, “산동성 출신 중국 연예인도 많은데 왜 외국인을 홍보대사로 임명한 것인가?”라며 비가 산동성 홍보대사로 임명된 것에 대한 반대의견들을 내놓았다"고 중국 언론은 밝혔다.
한편 산동성여행국측은 비를 산동성홍보대사로 선정한 것에 대해 중국내 반대여론이 심해지자 조심스러운 입장을 보이며 말을 아끼고 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
