Rain who comes to become the first Korean star to attend America's influential movie awards, stated his feelings about his attendance.
"I'd like to attend the ceremony with a piece of mind as if I enjoy a party, and It will seem to be a good experience to become intimate with hollywood stars."
"When I was asked to attend MTV Movie Awards ceremony, the memories of my hard work at the time of the Ninja Assassin shooting kept popping up in my head. Hopefully I'll win the award, but the fact that I'll be the ceremony means a lot to me."
Rain is the first Korean star to attend MTV Movie Awards which will be held in LA's 'Gibson Amphitheatre' on the 6th, USA. (by the time in USA)
Rain has earned a MTV Award nomination for his real performance in Ninja Assassin for Best Ass Kicking Star, and 'Angelina Jolie', 'Channing Tatum', etc. including Rain are competing for the award.
The ceremony that will be a star-studded event will broadcast live through cable channel MTV Korea for two hours from 10am on the 7th (by the time in Korea)

CALLING ALL CLOUDS! There is an entertainment site called ‘Hollywood Life‘ that is doing their own polls for the Mtv Movie Awards, and as it stands now ANGELINA JOLIE is in the lead for Biggest Badass Star! On top of that, they say Angelina is a shoo-in for this award and they disregard Rain as any sort of competition by stating,’Rain (whoever that may be)‘. They also go on to say:
“As for Biggest Badass Star, dudes like Channing Tatum, Chris Pine, Rain and Sam Worthington are SOL — there is NO ONE, and I repeat, NO ONE more badass than Angelina Jolie! I mean, who else could shimmy into a latex Tomb Raider costume like Angie, 34? Exactly. None of these guys!”
I think that although this vote doesn’t count towards the real Mtv votes, us Clouds should show them just who Rain is!!!!

Like It, Love It, Gotta Have It: Who Should Win MTV Movie Awards
In one of comedian Aziz Ansari's stand-up bits, he describes the absurdity of the names for Cold Stone Creamery's ice cream sizes. "What kind of crackhead terminology is that?" Ansari says of the Like It, Love It and Gotta Have It designations of the ice cream store's three cups.
And Ansari could probably apply that same "crackhead terminology" mentality to his latest gig, hosting the MTV Movie Awards at 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 6. Really, how else to describe the rabid "Twilight" followers who have managed to nominate "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" film adaptation for four categories this year, even though precursor "Twilight" only managed Best Movie status in last year's awards? Thanks to the show's rules — which outline that fans can vote for the nominees from a list of contestants in March and April, then vote for the winner from that list of nominees — it's probable that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, the three stars of "Twilight," will come out big this year in categories like Best Movie, Best Male Performance, Best Female Performance and Global Superstar.
But it's the award show's goofier categories which are always more interesting, anyway. For example, last year's Best WTF Moment went to the film "Baby Mama," for the scene in which Amy Poehler urinates in a sink, and Seth Rogen's and James Franco's silly bout against Danny McBride in "Pineapple Express" won out for Best Fight. This year's nominees in those two categories, along with new ones Best Scared-As-S**t Performance and Biggest Badass Star, will hopefully lighten things up. Vampires and werewolves can't have all the fun, after all.

There's just something about Rain. A South Korean pop star who has branched into acting and reinvented himself into an ass-kicking vigilante in "Ninja Assassin," Rain twisted, turned and took off dudes' heads throughout the film, creating an excessively bloody, utterly escapist 99 minutes. Plus, anything the Wachowski Brothers do that isn't "Speed Racer" is ... well, better than "Speed Racer."
