Rain Listed Among Final Nominees for ‘MTV Movie Awards’
[2010-05-14]World star Rain has been included in the final list of nominees for the “Biggest Badass Star” category of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards that will be held in the US on June 6.
MTV’s spokesperson said on May 13 that Rain, who appeared in the Hollywood movie “Ninja Assassin,” was chosen as one of the final five nominees for “Biggest Badass Star” along with Angelina Jolie, Channing Tatum, Sam Worthington, and Chris Pine.
MTV Movie Awards will be given in a total of twelve categories and the nominees and the final winner will be decided on completely by viewer voting without additional input by a panel of judges.
The viewer voting will be conducted until June 5, which is the day before the awards ceremony, on the event's official webpage (http://movieawards.mtv.com).
For this year’s awards, the movie “The Hangover” has been nominated in six categories, which makes it the movie nominated for the most number of awards, and “New Moon” and “Avatar“ have also been nominated in five categories each.

[May-14-2010]Rain proves himself to become the most sought-after star for various programs.
During
KBS show program 'Happy Together' aired on May13th, 5 male group's
member 'Lee Joon' discovered and trained by Rain, told the guests
several amusing anecdotes about Rain without a moment's hesitation, so
the situation embarrassed Rain.
'Lee
Joon' said, doing a funny imitation of Rain, "Rain tends to lose his
temper. At the beginning, he appears in our practice room with a smiling
face, but he huffs irritably when leaving", which caused the audience
to burst out laughing.
Continuing, "Since we fear to speak in his presence and avoid eye contact with him, he told us one day, 'Go easy on me'."
When
'Lee Joon' said this, imitating Rain's speaking-style where he appears
to be annoyed, gagman 'Park Myung-Soo' couldn't keep himself from
laughing after seeing that, and Rain tried to talk some sense into 'Lee
Joon', "I assure you I wasn't angry with you"
Although
Rain's face expressed perplexity, 'Lee Joon' continued his exposes of
Rain, "When I asked him to buy fried chicken, using my childlike charms,
he started to watch us as we practiced before buying it for us. But
after watching us, he burst out, "I don't think you practice enough! How
can you ask me to buy fried chicken in a situation like this?"
'Lee Joon' kept on talking, "Rain usually pours forth wisdom after getting angry.", which made the audience laugh.

Lee Hyori and Rain were both guest appearances on KBS Happy Together 3 aired on 13th May. Singer actor Rain joked about how MBLAQ Lee Joon should be more careful with his words.
Rain and Lee Joon were both guest appearances on KBS ‘Happy Together 3′ aired on 13th May. MC Yoo JaeSeok asked Lee Joon, “Aren’t you nervous doing broadcast appearance together with president Rain?” Lee Joon replied honestly, “(Nervous) like crazy”.
With Lee Joon’s comment, Rain said, “I’m really friendly.” And added, “I am not president byt a producer who teaches the know-hows I have. I hope you don’t think of it as difficult,” hinting to Lee Joon to do the filming naturally and comfortably.
He then added at the end, jokingly, saying, “I hope you will be careful with your words.”
Meanwhile, remember how Lee Joon revealed that Rain had called him ‘darling’ and did aegyo to him once which left him flustered? Rain’s explanation was “Even though I’ve said that before, but it was not what it meant. I think I have short term memory loss.”

Why did Rain call Lee Joon ‘darling’?
On the most recent episode of KBS 2TV Happy Together Season 3, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and Rain were both featured guests.
The two shared many stories about each other, and Lee Joon did not hesitate to share a hilarious story about his boss, Rain.
Lee Joon said, “Something really shocking happened. I went to Cebu with Rain for a photo shoot and afterwards, we decided to go swimming.”
“I was resting in the corner of the pool in a lounging area, and Rain popped out from the water. Like a scene from a movie, he stroked his hair back, looked at me and said, ‘Darling’.”
Lee Joon continued, “He kept smiling and calling me, ‘Darling~ darling~ darling’ continuously so I got really shocked. He has such a scary and charismatic image, and so I still don’t understand why he did that.”
After the set settled down from the explosion of laughter, Rain explained, “I have called him ‘Darling’, but I didn’t mean it that way.” Then he soon changed his mind and said, “Actually, I have short-term memory so I don’t remember saying that.”
Lee Hyori, who was also a guest on the show said, “Do you call your girlfriend ‘Darling’?” To this, Rain admitted, “I have called my ex-girlfriend ‘darling’.”
Can you imagine seeing this hunky, charismatic man putting his charms on and saying ‘darling’ to his girlfriend? It’s an interesting sight indeed!

Lee Joon imitates Rain
On episode of Happy Together that aired on the 13th, MBLAQ’s Lee Joon imitated his boss/mentor Rain.
Lee Joon talked about how Rain would walk into their practice room all happy, but after watching MBLAQ rehearse, he would leave disappointed and upset.
He then said that Rain asked MBLAQ to be more comfortable around him and ask to go out for food. So one day, Lee Joon, in a cute manner, asked to go out and eat chicken. Rain replied, “Oh really? Well, let me watch you practice first.” After they performed in front of him Rain, in a furious tone, asked, “You want chicken after performing like that?!”
Rain then took out a 50000WON bill and said to MBLAQ, “Do you want this?”. MBLAQ, of course, answered “yes”. This part of the story cracked up fellow guest Lee Hyori, but made Rain very embarrassed. Lee Joon continued on with his story, “He then crumpled it up and asked us if we wanted it. We said yes. Then he stepped on it and asked us if we wanted it. We said yes. He then said to us that the bill’s value never changed. To this day, we never understood what that had to do with anything.”
Rain then went on to explain himself, even though it didn’t make up for his embarrassing story. Rain said, “I was never angry. Joon just wants to make people laugh so he tries really hard. Joon, you can’t do that. See me in the practice room.”
You dunnit now, Joon! Now you won’t be able to eat chicken or receive free money from the boss.
