Rain, Wellspring-Constructing Project throughout the ‘Water-Suffering’ Asia
Rain digs wellsprings throughout the Asia.
Hand in hand with environmental foundations, he launches upon the project, ‘Sweet Rain that Descending in Asia.’
With
the proceeds to come out by selling Rain-related products, he is
planning on constructing wellsprings in some Asian areas where there is
much suffering from water shortage and on presenting
environment-friendly playgrounds for domestic children.
The
environment foundation said, “In the past, most Korean-wave stars did
nothing more than just selling simple character products for their own
fans. But this project has the meaning of not only containing the
message of environment but also contributing the entire proceeds to the
environmental foundation.”
This products with Rain’s character on the inside are such as mug cup or notebook and begin to be sold from January 2006.

Rain, Taiwanese Singer Lee-hom Wang Sing Duet for Album

Singer Rain (23) has made headlines, as his Chinese song "Perfect Harmony" (Wanmeidi Hudong, 完美的互動) which he sang jointly with top Taiwanese singer Lee-hom Wang (or Wang Lihong, 王力宏), has been featured in Wang's latest album entitled "Gaishi Yingxiong" (盖世英雄, An Outstanding Hero).
It remains to be seen how fans will respond to their duet, because Rain sang the song in Korea first, and Wang sang his own version to to be mixed in later due to their busy schedules.
Wang praised Rain for showing his unique talents by singing the song with a perfect Chinese accent, adding he was impressed by Rain's dancing and singing ability.
The latest joint album production was arranged by Bang Shi-hyuk, a well-known Korean album producer. Rain and Wang have never met each other in person.
Wang is expected to attend the second round of Rain's concerts to be held in Taiwan on Dec. 30. The album "Gaishi Yingxiong" will likely come into the spotlight when it is introduced at a presentation and press conference on Dec. 29.
