가수 비가 20억대 소송에 휘말린 상황에 대해 억울한 입장을 밝혔다.

지난 6일, D사 대표 이모씨는 패션디자인업체 패션 디자인업체 제이튠크리에이티브 주주 7명과 함께 비를, 특정경제범죄가중처벌 등에 관한 법률 위반 혐의로 서울지검에 고소한 상태.

이씨 고소장에 따르면, 제이튠크리에이티브 측이 설립 과정에서 주식 납입금 25억 원을 가장 납입하고 상업등기부에 등재했다는 것. 비의 모델료 명목으로 20억원을 횡령해 특정경제범죄가중처벌법 등에 관한 법률을 위반했다는 주장이다.

이와 관련, 제이튠크리에이티브는 “설립 당시의 투자금은 주주들에 의해 실질적으로 은행 계좌에 입금됐다. 이에 대해 우리가 가지고 있는 물증을 검찰 조사 과정에서 제시할 것이다"고 반박했다.

또, 비가 제이튠크리에이티브의 주주로서 이번 사업에 직간접적으로 관여했다는 이씨의 주장에 대해서도 극구 부인했다.

비는 제이튠크리에이티브와 실제로 3년간 의류 전속 모델 계약을 체결한 후 당시 받은 모델료로 주식을 구입해 더 큰 책임감을 안고 모델일에만 충실했다는 것.

비는 경영에는 전혀 참여한 적이 없으며, 다만 모델과 디자이너로서의 역할에만 충실해 온 상황임을 분명히 했다.

제이튠 측은 "이씨의 유명 연예인을 내세워 투자를 유인한 후 투자금을 빼돌리고 단기간에 회사를 폐업하는 금융사기 및 횡령 배임사건 주장은 유명 연예인을 흠집내려는 악의적 행의다"며 "검찰 조사에 최대한 협조해 하루속히 진위를 밝힐 것이며 이러한 명예 훼손 행위에 대해서는 별도로 엄중한 처벌을 요구할 생각이다”고 밝혔다.
